On February 11, 1858, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to Bernadette Soubirous, aged 14,
who was the child of a very poor family of Lourdes, a town in the Pyrenees Mountains of southern France. Our parish is named after
Our Lady of Lourdes. On February 10, 2008 we celebrated the 150th anniversary of the appearance of Mary to St. Bernadette.
